The lights are:
Steady Red
Alternating Red/Green.

If you have a lost comms situation, and you see anything OTHER than steady green, rather than looking at your kneeboard to figure out what the signal means, I'd be extra alert to looking outside for traffic first. Because in a real lost comms situation, ATC is going to clear everyone out of the way for you and give you a green unless they, for some reason, absolutely cannot get a plane out of your way, and that plane may be close by.

I guess the other scenario is that you're approaching a closed runway or something, but that would be apparent as you fly closer to the runway.

I requested light gun signals in flight and discovered there's no such thing as a steady green lol.

How would there be ATC at a non-towered airport?

Had to take this test, towers gun was messed up the first time, second time still wasn’t working correctly but the FAA failed me anyways. Needless to say I can’t be a pilot now because they don’t have a proper working light gun.

Any color blind people pass this test? Or can you see the difference in the video but not irl? What's the sequence of the lights? I dont know if I got it right or not
