Take the foam cap from the fixing point on the pole. It detaches. Then there is no shadow on the footage.

I heard that if you take the foam disc off the selfie stick it wont show a black moon shape on the 360 video

On the extended selfie stick, if you remove the foam 'stopper' under the 1/4 inch mount, it will be invisible in the shots. The foam stopper is there mainly to keep the stick collapsed.

Are you using 3k100 on slowmos?
The superlong monopod, there is a useable mid length where you lock the unused poles with the black rubber thingy inside the main handle

I find that exporting to fcp in a mp4 wrapper, compacts even more the already compacted insv (basically proprietary mp4) files. Then saving final fcp for publishing compacts it even more. A plug-in to Stich the two insv files for use within fcp be awesome! Help video, good job on explaining technique
