honestly tho, tryna keep long curly hair nice is a fookin pain in the back side but it does look good if you do it right.

It’s true, long hair in general is tough. I used to have hair to my mid-back but I cut it cause it was so damaged from me not taking proper care of it and it just didn’t look good. And I have 1A hair, so it’s considered one of the “easiest” types to care for (personally I think moderately wavy is probably the easiest to deal with, but I wouldn’t know) and it still sucks. My wife has curly hair and she hates it because of the difficulty to maintain it. I try to prompt her to embrace her natural hair, but of course she thinks I’m just talking, kekekek, but I’ll keep saying it.
