I often carry different kayaks on top of my SUV or van. Also, I use them for securing tarps. The CamJam is super useful. I use the smaller version with paradors and the XL version with 1/2 inch rope. They are built nice, easy to use in and makes securing stuff much faster

So if I use a couple of these to secure an aluminium ladder to my roof-rack, should I be confident that the ladder will not come loose and damage another vehicle or pedestrian?

Please, Does it work with normal 550 paracord? If not, what cord should I get? I want to order this, any help would be really appriciated.

Works great but needs a bigger release trigger. Hard to open with with greasy hands.

Prefer the Yakima straps, which are much simpler to thread, tighten, and release, and just as secure.
