Nite Ize - CamJam Cord Tightener

Designed to lock securely into place with a simple pull of a cord, the Nite Ize CamJam is an easy, knot-free way to tighten, tension, and secure lighter loads of all kinds. I like them, I'm going to check them out. How much of a load will they hold. I would use them for a camping tarp.

I purchased several of these in the standard size to reinforce my camping canopy. Many have already lost their tension & the cam will no longer lock. Is there a fix? These are way too expensive to already have issues. I probably haven’t used them more than 10 times.
