Don't listen to anyone saying you don't need more range, always get the Bigger battery.

250 is a lot less with the heat or the ac on including freezing or high temps.

Better to choose 300+ range or long range.

Bigger batteries last longer, it can offer more charge cycles over its battery life.

If that's all you can afford and really want it cause it's cheaper, be happy and drive without any regrets.

I am really considering purchasing my first Tesla Y as lease pricing and incentives are attractive only thing putting a used Tesla under my current insurance with full coverage increased my monthly rate for the Tesla alone to $350 a month with progressive. Anyone else see an increase in their premiums after their purchase of a Tesla in the NY area? I would think it would be cheaper, its the only thing holding me back from the purchase
