The early Human-Covenant war is an interesting era of Halo lore & how Humanity learned both that it wasn't alone & that as a species it would need to unite to face against a direct threat to the entire Human species. Also rise to power of the 3 High Prophets and the lies they told has often made me thought of what would've happened if Humanity being Reclaimers was made public knowledge back in 2525.

Even though the Insurrectionists allied briefly with the Covenant on multiple occasions. Humanity never fully allied against the Covenant

This got recommended. Even though i'm subscribed i'd like to think that it's because people took interest in Halo lore since the beggining of the tv show. An alien threat like that is ironically what brings humans together and makes them better to each other.

This isn't something I have actually been able to find definitively, but do we actually know how big the Covenant Empire was before the war? Like how much space it actually controlled? I always had the impression of it being more of a nomadic Hegemony with a few isolated worlds, but a massive exploratory fleet, as opposed to the more "Developed" Human system. This is probably wrong but I have never been able to get that perspective with Halo

If I could make a suggestion for your Lore Core series can you cover EVE Online and the Homeworld games please? Those are pretty underrated and don't nearly the amount of credit in sci fi that they deserve.

Kind of wish the TV show was based around this era rather than the one they went with. The Harvest Campaign lasted 5 years, so much lore that is left vague and could’ve been explored in depth.
