6:26 I mean in all honesty Cory, we really don’t need some high flying offense(which I’m not saying you’ve ever alluded to), I’m just believe that if we can be really good at what we’re trying to accomplish on offense then we’ll be just fine. Just a heavy dose of run, some PA, and the occasional deep ball, and obviously a QB sneak or two and as long as we get those clicking I feel really good. I think it’s just the verbiage that’s been tough for the offense to learn, as well as all the new motion shit. We know Kirks team pulls it together the best in Nov., so as long as we can get to that point with only an L to OSU, I think we’ll roll in turkey season. You’re right though: don’t expect immediate results

They’ll get to ten wins and get boat raced against OSU and who ever they play in the first round of the playoffs. The offense won’t be drastically better this year cause they still don’t have any skill at receiver or qb but they got handed another cupcake schedule like they get most years. Plus getting 3 guaranteed rivalry games against 2 scrubs and Wisconsin ever year and the ISU game is 3-4 gimme games a year. Until Iowa starts competing in the 1 challenging game they get a year no one is going to take them serious and most people will watch them just to watch them struggle on O.

Iowa just isn’t good. Too easy of a schedule and they can’t hang with the big boys. If you like average and beating nobody’s, then cheer for Iowa.
