So I work in a pharmacy and I can tell you that the product is made and sold commercially. It’s called ichthammol drawing salve, its is a black charcoal base slave. Prid also makes a drawing salve that comes in a little orange tin can. As a kid, my dad had some made from West Virginia family members and we called it black salve. In pharmacy I get asked to order it all the time. It’s a great product to have along with a triple antibiotic ointment. YT makes no sense if you were giving a recipe or showing what can do. Maybe it is all in the wording. Like saying it can heal vs saying it can help promote healing. IDK
