50M views. Just wow. 😭 All I can say is a huge thanks to all of you who have been watching — and listening to this song — for almost a decade now!! I am, truly, forever grateful to you. And I can’t give enough thanks to Joachim (my uncle), Hillary (my aunt), and our friend Mario, for letting me sing this heartbreaking anthem, and to Mark (the director of the music video) for bringing out even more of the heartbreak in me, in this powerful music video.

For those of you who don’t know already, Dynasty is about my uncle and aunts breakup, which was devastating for us all. They had been together for 10 years, and, I believe, that they were soulmates. Although I also believe, that if we are lucky, we have more than one soulmate. Still, this was a heartbreak. For all of us. We were a trio, best friends, so it was hard to let go of the beautiful thing that had been.. But, we turned the sorrow into this song, and look at the impact it has had! I am so thankful! And I will forever try to turn my sorrow into something beautiful, just like we did with this song.

That 17 year old singing this song will always be found somewhere right in the core of my soul. And now, when I look back at that time, I am proud of myself. Now, I am 25, and I am more ready than ever to show the world who I am. My biggest wish is that you will see me, and all that I am, and hear my voice, as you have in Dynasty, in my new music as well. My music will always be, like Dynasty, emotions that run deep and roam loudly. That is who I am.

Very soon, I will be releasing my debut EP — and these are songs that have shaped who I have become since Dynasty — and even before that. These songs are four personal, raw stories from my life, that have been a huge part in shaping me into the young woman I am today. Three of the songs are already out in the world, «Oxide», «Skin of a Fool», and «Can’t Remember a Smile». These are all written by me, and produced by my uncle Joachim. This project means so much to us, and nothing would make us happier than if you would listen to it and give it a chance.

I would never have made this EP if it wasn’t for you. And that isn’t just something I’m saying, I truly MEAN it. You have been here, listening to Dynasty, but also waiting, so patiently, for new music. I have always known that ya’ll were here, not only for Dynasty, but for me. And I have for so long wanted to give something back to you. That is why I also made music videos for the new songs — each their own little world… 🌊🎞🎭 As an attempt to give back to you in some way, and invite you into my universe.
