Mine just ignores me when i press cancel and hold. Turned it off for hours, still remembers, only way i can cancel it is to let it go through that cycle. So annoying

To CANCEL programme, mine says press and hold for 3 seconds. That’s nonsense as I’ve had to stand there pressing it for a minute to two - it actually does cancel. Now the machine is stuck on pause and I can’t change it. I’m about to call out for a repair.

CHECK THE CHILD LOCK!! We just had an engineer call as the machine pause/cancel button was flashing and we couldn’t get it off. Engineer saw straight away. I did feel a dope. Check your manual. I’ve used the cancel button many times to change the programme - and although it says press for THREE seconds, that’s nonsense, it’s always more to cancel the programme.

Watched this because my machine is acting up. When I held to cancel "End" didn't stay. Now the whole thing has frozen up. Managed to get what I think is a generic error code "0417". Unplugged the power and am leaving it for a couple of hours. Any further advice?
