I had to pull over on the side of the road when I heard this song play for the first time. It gave me cold chills. I was driving to my future home to climb up in the loader and clear some trees. Already thinking about where the house would be, the trees on either side of the driveway, and how I was going to pay for it all. Hearing this reminded me why I’m pushing so hard to get it all done. Excellent song!

Me and my then boyfriend have been listening to you for four years now and we’ve been absolutely obsessed with your music since listening to Guilty as can be and The Grandpa Song. Our first concert we we’re old enough to get Into was to an 18 and older bar and we’ve been to 3 since. On October 26 we woke up extremely excited to listen to the release of the new album and immediately fell In love with Fencepost because we had the illusion of buying our piece of land and starting a life. Little did I know that we we’re going to get engaged a few hours later . This song will always be special to me because it’s exactly what we’re going through and It’s a reminder that in the end it’ll all figure itself out and we’ll have each other to love for the rest of our lives !
