Almost 500 civilians have been evacuated from the battered city of Mariupol and its besieged Azovstal steel plant since a UN-led rescue operation began, the head of Ukraine's presidential office said Friday. Ukrainian fighters in the tunnels underneath the plant held out against Russian troops Thursday in an increasingly desperate effort to deny Moscow a complete capture of the city. I'm happy for the 500 "rescued" civilians. Russia has constantly opened corridors for them, they just had to come out. The UN did nothing for this but show up. While it's a tragedy what is happening it is also tragic how one sided the war and it's cause is presented.

I’m curious why Covid has not been mentioned anywhere in the media when it comes to the situation in Ukraine. People are cramped or unhealthy environment for weeks and months at a time yet I have not heard a peep. Has anyone heard anything?
