People spend more because they are looking for that high that purchasing makes them feel. When you achieve your goals, you have to set new ones, because you start to get very bored. Since I am an avid reader, I have a stack of new books to ensure that I don't have to worry about an idle mind, so I won't spend all the time.

We don’t have an issue making earning money, our issue is keeping it and investing it. We spend way too much money on bullshit, I just threw out a couple of shirts and sweats pants that I use 2 times maybe each and that was about $300 I just threw in the donation bin. That’s not counting all the rest of crap we buy and only use 1 time. 😢

I worked on the weekends in high school and bought myself a car, and won a college scholarship. I worked full-time in college, won a scholarship, and bought myself a house when I graduated with my business degree in Marketing. I worked full-time through law school, won a cash award in a nationwide essay contest among all U.S. law schools, and paid for my law degree through my investment in the stock market. Now, as I head into retirement, I am debt-free but not wealthy. I do have everything I need though, especially my health. However, Richard is right. There is still a lot more money to be made and I want some of it. 😁

On a side note, I know you were a starter in the NFL, but you were All-SEC. AA, too. You were probably making Deion nervous. We have very good football up here in North Jersey. We’ve come down and showed Manatee and Aquinas that. Lol. But we have nothing on Florida.
