My husband did it...he was prediabetic for over a decade...he went into the diabetic range and didn't want to do medication, plus he had low iron which made the diabetic result void. He cut out sweets and ate low carb...lunch was a big salad with low carb veggies and protein...he was already drinking sugar free drinks although infrequently vs sugared beverages...he lost about 50 pounds and has continued to be 'normal' for over a decade.

I definitely changed my diet! The standard diet that a "normal" person eats will shorten most of their lives. These foods and techniques that you listed in this video are basically how I got myself back on the road to good health. Several times I tried going back to a normal American diet and the results were disastrous. Changing your eating lifestyle results in good health in all aspects. Your videos are always entertaining and helpful. I look forward to each new release! Keep it up, Kait!

Should people with pre - diabetes be on the Paleo diet for the rest of their lives?

Doctors might not have time to share diet, preventive advice, but there's no excuse for not handing patients information in a written format, e informing diet etc that can reverse pre- diabetic symptoms. To often a prescription is the easy method when alternative health care can be more effective and should be advised.
