We took on the challenge of climbing one of Indonesia's most well known volcanos, Mt Kawah Ijen. This is not only an active volcano but also an active and working sulfur mine. We got the opportunity to watch the miners at work in inside the volcanos crater and this is definitely the hardest job we have ever seen before! This was only one of the reasons this hike was such a mind-blowing experience. The other was getting to the the volcano's blue flame!!! This was INSANE and made the entire hike worth it just to see this!
