My guess was that your pond water would have an ammonia of zero on the Hanna meter. Typically is zero when there is green water.

You took note on what said faulty batch api told you thanks mentioning me'" keeping koi 31 years don't mind helping but take credit something I said come on shower to low treble water flow not enough going through green water all doing With that additive is temporarily fix need get cause not enough water flow through uv simple fix or uv to small its one or the other doing this help others same situation and my experience pond bombs do s... nothing save cash get uv.

You can't compare the two (Hanna vs API) because they are measuring two different things.
