3000 gallons, Block built, box weld liner, aerated bottom drain, QK22 drum filter, QK midi shower with 30kg of Midori Infrared Bacteria Home media and 10kg Lotus root Bacteria home media, 3ft votex with 100ltr K1 micro. Aqua Forte Vario pump at 99watts (variable power output) over shower, superfish eco 3000 on K1 vortex.

Good to see your well. Not good with the Chlorine. You really don't need quite such a high trickle through the winter.. Good tip with the windows. I dont have them but insulting is a must if you heat.

Andy thanks for the update buddy. Great to see the insulation on the glass and it making a difference, if you put the same insulation across the lid you will allow the air source heat pump to be even more officiant. I keep my air source at 18 degrees with 80mm on the lid, just taking one panel of during daylight hours. 45% of your heat is lost through the lid.
Polycarbonate does not retain heat, conservatoires are never warm in winter😂👍🏻

Great video andy and nice to see you back again. I have the big blue same as yourself, bought mine from Andy finch great chap, and very helpful. Mine is filled with carbon and bone char which Andy recommend after giving him the details of my water supply report from United utilities. Would have been nice to see how you actually changed the contents of the big blue so I would have an idea when I come to do mine. Take care

The legend returns ! I’ll be looking to get some acers planted in my garden so I too will be in the garden getting on with planting ! Since my last issues I took your advice on leaving the pond well alone and the pond has really settled in and no fish losses for 4 months so big thanks !

Ha, happy new year Andy, nice to see you, better check my big blue to, dough, I've been very lazy, fish seem OK, been trying to work out my filter upgrade today, with the queni koi 25 or 35 plus the bio unit, while having a bath and drinking wine 🍷 😆, better check my water tmw, got another week if then I'm on 12 our shifts, not happy, we'll need a drum set up. 😀
