The Brannocks seen in The Watcher are based on the real life couple Derek and Maria Broaddus. Three days after the couple closed on their Westfield, New Jersey home in June 2014, they received their first letter from a person known as “The Watcher.”
A rich hard working family find the home of their dreams. The father even takes out his retirement plan to put a huge down payment but what ensues is a nightmare. The start to receive weird creepy letters in the mail and everyone in their life is a suspect. Their creepy neighbors who somehow manages to get inside the dumbwaiter to the old couple across the street who have nothing better to do than stare at them. A riveting limited series called the watcher made by Ryan Murphy and starring Naomi Watts, Mia Farrow, Bobby Cannavale, and Jennifer Coolidge. Is the entire town part of these turn of events?
