Thank you for sharing your experience. Had some shortness of breath on too much exertion and ankle was swollen. Was shocked when Dr said it was my heart. Heart block Mobitz II. Intermittent 2:1 block. Dual chamber Azure ppm was implanted in me 3/2025, one month past my 63rd birthday. Today I guess is 22 days out. I feel pretty good. I had same pain and soreness during those 3 weeks but it wasn't too bad. Every day was better than the last. I am feeling the device less and less as the pocket heals and my brain gets used to having a foreign object in my chest. I have never felt any pacing jolts. I am a bit surprised to read that you and several others could actually feel the pacing happening. I am looking forward to the 3 month follow up so i can see how much i am pacing as my problem was persistent but not constant in nature. I could have days of 2:1 (45bpm resting) block and then a few days of more or less normal (70+bpm resting) heart rate.

I might be getting one. Not sure yet. Bradycardia. I do find I’m out of breath sometimes, after doing something physical. So, I appreciate these kind of videos, as I like to be informed.

Interesting that you mentioned pacemaker induced Tachycardia. I’m two weeks out and have had Tachycardia three times. I’m also set at 60BPM. Thanks for the heads up. Will definitely discuss with Dr.

Well, presented video. I am helping a loved one with a pacemaker and I have found it's a BIG learning process. And I actually have been working in heathcare for numerous years. Educate yourself and it will reassure you more and more. The more you know the better. Use your booklet that came with the pacemaker as a
reference.

Nice to meet another "younger" PM patient. I got my first one when I was 40. I'm due to get "upgraded" to a biventricular PM in two weeks, about 8 years sooner than I expected.

My pacemaker has been working fine, but I'll be going in for catheterization on Nov 4, 2022. I've already got 7 stents, so I may need bypass work this time. If all goes well, I'll post again.

Thanks for making this video. I'm 32 and currently being tested to see if I need a pacemaker. I have a 2:1 second degree AV block so I'm a little nervous about the whole thing. It's nice to hear your experience!

Had a pacemaker put in Sept 2024 and 60 yrs old. Had a check up its at 39% pacing 6 weeks after it was put in all is fine so far. So you are saying your percentage dropped after 1 year i didnt know that happened. I will see if mine does too. Thanks for the video.
