Moisturizer have always been the hardest area of skin care for me. My skin is acne prone, but also sensitive dry and very temperamental. I was using the Neutrogena sensitive skin moisturizer, which worked well before they discontinued it. I spent six months trying to find a new one and now I use the DRMTLGY water cream and it is wonderful. It’s hydrating without feeling greasy on your skin. It’s very unique.

You mentioned the bubble moisturizers. I would love to hear your thoughts on their vitamin c serum that is so much more than just vitamin c.

My skin still gets oily at 50, but I don't get breakouts anymore unless I eat something specific to me causing it or a face product causes it.
I have been using Murad's clarifying cleanser for 20 years and every time I try something else it doesn't do it for me. Their clarifying moisturizer gives me milia and caused a little breaking out. They had another one I used for 15 years that did not but they discontinued it.
I tried so many (cruelty free) moisturizers, and settled on Glow Recipe Watermelon Pink Juice Oil-Free Moisturizer. I also tried their plum plum which was not bad either but i love the light weight of the former.
That being said I do want to try 5 or more of the ones you are suggesting. I may start with paula's choice. The Rovectin Clean Lotus Water really interests me too. I haven't liked any gel formulas for moisturizing so far.
My skin is not sensitive to irritation, only breakouts from oil products. Also I am about to start Tretinoin and may need more moisturizing.

I quickly copy and pasted the ingredients of the moisturizers you provided links to (some didn't have an ingredient list at the links though) into a comedogenic online checker and found a few comedogenic ingredients that can cause acne prone skin to break out. Ones that stood out to me are she butter and coconut alkanes, which are known to be comedogenic...

I am very confused about the Paula's Choice product. The Oil control line is shown (matching SKIN BALANCING Invisible Finish Moisture Gel was recommended), but the clip they showed from the brand was of the RESIST Barrier Repair Advanced Moisturizer, AND the link in the video description led to the CLEAR Oil-Free Moisturizer. Three different products were used interchangeably so I want to know which one was the actual recommendation.

I have this problem, especially with SPFs they totally clog up my skin! Not found a solution yet. On my 7th Ordinary NMF tube - its great!

I am 30 yo man with oily skin and I am trying The Ordinary moisturising factor +ha but I have to say so far I'm not impressed: it accentuates my wrinkles and it leaves my face greasy for hours especially where I have more sebaceous filaments. I don't think I will repurchase it and I'll recycle it as hand and elbow cream. So far nothing works better for me than spring water.

The best moisturizer I have found that works for my acne prone sensitive dry and oily skin is pixi clarity lotion morning and night😍
Then I use la roche-posay duo plus as spot treatment and la roche-posay sensitive riche moisturizer like an eye cream and also on really dry areas incase I need it👍

Could you do a review on Colorescience's new cleanser and moisturizer as well as Pavise products? I restarted a tazarotene 0.1% routine a few months ago and have found that a lot of these moisturizers you listed today used to work GREAT for me, but now they're just not moisturizing enough for retinoid use. I've been having good results lately with Colorescience and Pavise so wanted to see what you thought of these products as well. Thanks and have a great day! (Also - thank you for recommending Dr Sam Bunting's micellar water in an earlier video - I just started using it and am OBSESSED!!!)
