Try the “Ice Blue” SMD LEDs. So nice! Good luck for the new year of teaching. Here in the Southern Hemisphere, we’re about 3/4 the way through. Stay safe! 👍

Just use 2 fans and 2 heat sinks if you want to build a fridge or cooler otherwise you will require anti freeze, a pump and some type of thermostat. If you look at the ready made coolers like Mobicool and Coolatron they use a fan and heat sink on the hot side and a slightly smaller fan and heat sink on the cold side. Your idea is good for the high powered LED but far to complex for a simple fridge.

Modern Blue LEDs are my fav. Efficient.
You can often get them to glow with a tiny fraction of a milliamp.
5V with a 4.7k resistor usually works.
