I liked this movie personally.

I liked this movie as a kid. I still sort of have a soft spot for it but it's not as good as I remember.

I disagree, and the more Doug tried to convince me the movie was bad the more I realized how GREAT it was (like at the time I didn't know such great actors were involved in this movie). Also the "bad" thing about opening the chips and the negative to the environment is that the Raccoon opened Pandora's Box, and once the woodland creatures realized how good human life was they wanted a piece of it, which would almost end in their total annihilation...

I have to disagree with Doug that good jokes come from misery. I thought the bag of chips explosion was funny, and the big blast at the end was funnier because it was larger (reached out of the galaxy). I didn't really care if they were in pain or not.

I liked this movie as a kid and still think it was pretty good. Far from the best but good enough.

I did enjoy this movie to an extent. Sure, it's not the most original thing in the world, but it does have a lot of good moments. Plus, while I loathe the whole "liar revealed" cliche, I don't mind how it's handled here, 1. Because it doesn't try to hammer emotions into anyone. 2. They don't focus on it for that long.

I actually enjoyed the movie for what it was, a cash-in on a newspaper comic strip. Honestly, looking back at it I'm surprised at how good is is compared to some of the other movies in the same genre, like... Ugh... Garfield.

Critic, i know this vid is old, but everytime i hear you nitpick the "chip bag" scene. it irks me a bit.

The whole point of showing that cheesy earth bomb effect was to exaggerate the point of the animals perspective. This is their first time experiencing ANYTHING outside of what they find in the woods. They have heightened senses of smell. To them, they were BOMBED with flavor. But because its animated, they can be as literal with the symbolism as they writers/animators want to be.

Then again, you also seem hell bent on the mentality that "its only funny if its tragic". Was this review done during a dark period in your life? I'm not even saying to be a smart ass or anything, I'm genuinely curious...

This masterpiece anime! but honestly tho I liked the movie. It was alright. The video game was fucking fun tho, that golf cart crash mini game CLASSIC!

This film was great. The animals perspective of suburbia was just hilarious. This film also got me into Ben Folds.

This guy is funny, and I agree with a lot of points he makes on other films, but I feel like with anything animated he just comes off as a kill-joy.

I was bored from this, but Steve Carell saves the day. His squirrel was really funny. And i died at laugh when he drank coffee or something, it was original. I think this is not bad.
