i cant decide if telling him beforehand how many ingredients went into a dish would make this better or worse... on one hand, we get the sheer delight of seeing him put 9 types of pasta into a pot of boiling water, but on the other hand we'd get to see his mind break as he desperately tries to hold himself back from adding 9 types of pasta to a pot of boiling water because only 5 things went into the dish he tasted. either way, i'd love to see this as a series XD

Josh squirting lemon juice into a jello, avocado, greek yogurt abomination from 10 feet away and then stirring with the back of a knife was so chaotic and disturbing and just incredibly on brand. More of this series please

I am actually astonished that Josh made what appears to be a better tasting dish despite having a, in my opinion, more horrifying mix of ingredients

Definitely getting the sense that Josh is going to make the food crime even more heinous. I'm so ready.

Josh going through the process of finding CORN was amazing. Amazing concept and episode guys. Pure chaos and brilliance.

Josh sucking avocado yogurt jello off the back end of a sharp knife while boiling 5 types of noodles and bread was not what I was expecting, and yet it’s exactly what I expected

We need Try Guys Without A Recipe style editing here, jumping between footage of Lily making the original dish and then Josh doing everything wrong

This would be really cool to see how all the chefs compete to see who gets the closest. Could easily turn into a series.

This feels like the off brand version of BA’s Chris Morocco’s reverse engineering and I love it. Make this a series

i don’t know why i had so much faith in him in the beginning but i’m honestly not mad that josh completely failed. the complete antithesis to chris morocco but it’s beautiful

More horrifying dishes like this please. I nominate the Party Cheese Salad.

Lily- "this is so good!"
Josh with hope in his eyes and love in his heart - "REALLY?"
Lily - no....
I saw Josh's heart shrink a little. 😆

You know... I was thinking how could Josh mix that up for refried beans, and then he called it bean puree... and you know, hummus is literally bean puree.

"There was a cheese"
"There is feta cheese in the fridge"
"I don't know where the sourness came from"

This video had me genuinely curious if Josh could pull off a completed dish based on clues left behind like in Crime Scene Kitchen. They could even make it a competition. Josh and Lily vs Nicole and Trevor, and Vi can be the judge.

Lily is the perfect counterbalance to Josh's chaotic energy. This concept works tremendously well!

josh just casually dumping the pasta into the boiling water using his hands is top tier

Props to Josh getting three ingredients right out of 907 in the middle of a fugue state!

I love lily's "This is so good" and Josh's reaction to it. And Josh's ramen cup opening strategy is top tier.

This just seals the deal that the Sorted boys and Josh need to get together for a panic filled pass it on - where he'll strangely ( maybe ) be the calm one depending on if he goes before or after Barry.
