The thing about removing a character is the character is part of dlc and not everyone has the booster course pass removing a character would cause drama for people without the booster course pass

It's been confirmed that more characters are coming in waves 5 and 6 so they may do what they did with the Wii U DLC and add an extra row. So after Birdo we would get 6 more characters because one row makes up 7 characters. Birdo would start off the new row and the other 6 would make a total 7.
