3 spoonfuls every 3days is such a dried out way to keep this plant. if u wait until the soil is totally dry then saturate then wait until totally dry then saturate then wait until totally dry then saturate then wait until totally dry then saturate you get the idea... it will grow quickly if you stay right on top of those timings... as for any succulent absolutely any!!! I speak from many years of work

What if it was infested with bugs? I have a haworthia that had scale and I just gave it a bath and soaked it for 15 minutes in soapy water. I think I got all of the scale off, but I’m not entirely sure how to care for it now. Do I cut off the roots? Do I reply it? Wait for it to callus? I have no clue what to do next…

You are overwatering your plant. Thats why the roots were rotten. Aloe should be watered 1 or 2 times per month at the most. Spray the roots every few days to stimulate new growth, without wetting the soil; and then only water when your leaves get squishy. Or your roots will rot again like they already did

This advice just sucks. You shouldnt be watering in spoonfuls. 3 spoonfuls id nothing. The plant wont even absorb that. The plant should be thoroughly watered when it needs it and should be planted in a way better soil than you got there
