Here is what you'll need!

THE BEST SOFT AND CHEWY SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES
Makes 24 cookies

INGREDIENTS
¼ cup sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 cup butter, softened
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar
⅓ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
3 cups flour
1 tablespoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt

PREPARATION
1. Preheat the oven to 375˚F(190˚C).
2. In a small bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon until evenly incorporated. Set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl whip the butter with vanilla until light and fluffy.
4. Add the sugar and brown sugar and mix until well incorporated.
5. Add the eggs and stir until thoroughly incorporated.
6. Using a sift add the flour, cream of tartar, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt and sift into the dough. Combine until evenly mixed.
7. Using your hands roll dough into ping pong sized balls.
8. Dip the dough into cinnamon sugar mixture and roll around covering the dough ball completely.
9. Place cookie dough on parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
10. Enjoy!

perfect recipe: substitute cream of tarter for lemon juice (trust me), instead of 375 bake at 325 for 20 minutes, flatten before putting in the oven, and let chill in fridge for 20-30 minutes. best cookies! :)

I just made these cookies. First batch i made turned out AWFUL. Mine were huge semicircles, rock hard on the outside and raw on the inside. Second batch was very good. Flatten out the cookies instead of leaving them like balls, and bake at 325 rather than 375. Came out delicious like that :)

Follow the recipe on the video. Ignore the recipe in the description box. Chill the cookies for 30-60 minutes. Bake at 325°F for 20 minutes. If you don't have cream of tartar substitute it for same amount of white vinegar. Use heaping teaspoons of cinnamon. I made them last night and they turned out great this way.

Guys i actually made these and they turned out super puffy (thicc bois) but they were SUPER MOIST AND CHEWY IN THE MIDDLE IT WAS PERF

I just made 6 batches of these and they taste AMAZING!! This recipe is perfect!! If you don’t have time or your impatient like me I put the batter in the freezer for 10 minutes and it worked even better!

Made these with my boyfriend and they were spectacular!
I did however add an extra tablespoon of cinnamon to the batter as well as a pinch of nutmeg, and for the cinnamon-sugar coating, I used 1/3 cup of sugar and 1/5 cup of cinnamon and mixed that together since it didn't specify how much.

I tried this recipe very easy to make. I did listen to the comments. I only added baking soda, flatten them before baking at 325 for 20 min. Turned out great!

Recipe but halved:
1/2 cup butter (110g)
1 tsp vanilla (5mL)
1/2 cup white sugar(95g)
5 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp white vinegar or lemon juice/1 tsp cream of tartar
1 1/2 cups ap flour(180g)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
A pinch of salt

Chill and rolled the balled dough in cinnamon+sugar

Made these tonight and they turned out really good. Only used 1 tsp of cinnamon instead of 2(personal preference) ... SO GOOD 😊

The recipe in the video and the recipe in the description box don't match. The amounts of cinnamon, cream of tartar and baking soda are different. Also it doesn't say to chill the dough before baking

When I heard the name snickerdoodle I was always under the impression that there were little bites of Snickers chopped up in the cookies

We flattened it and did 325 for 20 minutes like the comments said. We had no cream of tartar, we panicked last minute and squeezed lemon over it lmao, we will get cream of tartar next time. They were still good. Thank goodness I read the comments
