A runtime console is such an essencial tool. Thats one of the features that Unity should implement into their engine imo

I like this format more than the 3 videos/asset type format. It's like I can just add one video to a playlist instead of 3 when I want to come back to it in search of an asset I saw in your videos. Great work as always CM!

Man, your voice almost sounds nostalgic now. Watching this video is like visiting a church if a religion I no longer follow, but had fond memories in.

There's two Unity tutorials I plan to finish before porting the projects to godot, if I use godot. One is the Kitchen Chaos tutorial from you. The other is this bad cookie clicker tutorial, but refactoring it as I go with notes from the Kitchen Chaos tutorial.

Before that, I'm gonna take a swing at making my own game engine. My guess is I'll take a break about March/April, and work on the Unity➡️Godot stuff. But I'm deffinately gonna give it my best shot, and if I need a break, I'll return to it eventually.

Overall, I think this change will be good for me. Was a shove when I needed a push in the right direction. Doesn't mean it's easy, as the difficulty and time requirements to actually produce a game have massively increased. But it's a good change.

Good luck with your game release. Item 17 @ 10:19 - your voiceover (and the asset title) says it's a Pirate Port CIty asset - but it appears to be another particle/vfx system - rather than something to build prate cities. I assume the stress of crunch time affected the edit. Unless I've completely lost my mind. Again. Stay safe out there.

I feel you on the 16hr days lol. I been working on a new character controller trying to emulate Link from BOTW / TOTK for 6 months and regularly putting in 12-16hrs a day 😂

heya I'd like to ask for some advice, I'm making a text based game and i made a queue to add buildings to so you can only build 1 building and queue the next to build this is what I would like to make but it only ends up constructing 1 building and leaves everything else XD i tried using chat-gpt but every time I ask chat-gpt but just ends up confusing me more right now i am using a queue but i thought of using arrays instead or making a statemachine
