the room looked lovely and the price seemed reasonable for the size and facilities, absolute bugger about not being able to use the fridge and the sensors etc, I mean wtf lol
as for the spyhole in that massive door....kinky!?

We flew from Manchester last week and got the same view on the 4th floor when we paid for a strip view. I went down to reception and demanded they change and I was not going to move until I got the room I paid for. They said they had given me the wrong room by mistake and I was given a room on the 9th floor with a fantastic strip view. Do not take any rubbish from people at check in and do not back down.

that's definitely a lot for mid-week for a basic room off-strip - did you compare the prices with other similar hotels?
if the similar hotels were the same price then there must be a big convention in town.
Do you still get free breakfast with Hilton Diamond (I did when Hilton managed the Tropicana)?

Looks like the one in Edinburgh is even more expensive. I'm glad UK does not have an equivalent city to Las Vegas.

Yup that's definitely not a view of the Strip.... We couldn't believe that you had to pay just to get the fridge emptied. What a swizz! N&Nx

Everything seems to cost 25% more than you expect it to in Vegas these days. On or off strip.

Interesting! I have been to Vegas quite a few times, and hadn't heard of Virgin Hotels! Looks like an awesome room, but I would be a bit disappointed not getting the strip view. Thanks for your review! But, I'll stick to hotels on the strip!
