The whole album “a new world record” is an absolute masterpiece. My Dad had a copy of this album, plus “out of the blue” and I grew up listening to them. Such fabulous memories!

Yes great song. I have a wide taste in music and can appreciate and enjoy a variety of styles and sounds, but through all my life the sound of ELO has been the one that I felt was "my sound". The one I related to most closely. Just perfect for me. As you said, they have produced so many great songs. Just brilliant. Glad you finally found them and are enjoying their music now.

They, The Electric Light Orchestra Part Two, Mik Kaminski, Bev Bevan, Kelly Groucot and others, without Jeff Lynne they came to my country Chile in 1997, full small enclosures. (I saw them that time). Years laters, in 2005, they came as The Orchestra, they performed at a "*Viña del Mar International Festival¨* and the public about 10.000 applauded the group and the Chilean public gave them 2 Awards !! to the band that finally symbolized the music of ELO.
Electric Light Orchestra Original from 1974 - 1980, they are the best ! !, and since i heard them in 1977 i have never forgotten them. It´s sound, instruments violin, cellos, bass, drum, synth and VOICES WONDERFUL GROUP!!.
Thanks for you reaction Stan and try these ELO songs: "Livin Thing", "Shine Little Love" "Confution" Hold On Tight". Thanks and Congratulations.

Jeff Lynne is a musical master and up there with Tuomas Holopainen as two of the best songwriting composers ever in my humble opinion. Thank you Stan for reacting to this masterpiece that has again in my humble opinion one of the the best intros ever, 🙏😊👍
