What I love about bands like ELO is that there is no bands like ELO. It stands alone.

Their Catalog is Priceless, Jeff wrote, produced arrainged, for ELO, But his work for John Lennon, Tom Petty, George Harrison, Roy Orbison & countless others is unmatched by others. Its unbelievable, the man plays at least 12 instruments, He is the definition of Music.🎶🎵🎶🥰

ELO picked up the torch when the BEATLES put it down. In fact, John Lennon was quoted as saying "ELO are the Son's of the Beatles".

Not sure I've ever listened to an ELO song and not smiled. No one on the planet like Jeff Lynne.

Jeff Lynne is a next level musical genius, from The Move to Wilburies everything he touched was made better. ✌️

ELO is the one of the best bands of the 70's and 80'.
Their Beatlesish sound is incredible. John Lennon once called them "sons of The Beatles".They masterfully incorporated classical instruments into their music. Lead singer/songwriter Jeff Lynne is an absolute musical genius.
"Living Thing", " Telephone Line", "Shine A Little Love", Evil Woman", Turn To Stone" are a few of their greatest hits.

"Do Ya" is a song written by Jeff Lynne, that was originally recorded by The Move, which became a hit for the Electric Light Orchestra (led by Lynne, ELO originally being a side project of The Move) in 1977. (Wikipedia)

Amber, as someone who was raised on a small farm, ELO’s “Fire On High” was one of the few songs that made me feel when I was riding one of my horses. It’s mainly an instrumental, but supporting the instrumental is a choir singing just a few words, as well as a bit of a surprise. Try to check it out at some point. 🖤

"Do Ya" was on ELO's "New World Record" album and was released in 1976. I had the Album and 8-track tape. The whole album is a GEM with "Telephone Line" "So FIne" "Livin' Thing" "Tightrope" and "Rockaria" plus "Shangri-La" which would be your favorite if heard.

Jeff Lynne was a massive Beatles fan, and you can hear the influences in some of his tunes.

“Can’t get it out of my my head” is one you guys will enjoy

ELO destroyed all my misconceptions about classical music...well along with Walter Murphy's "A 5th Of Beethoven" during the disco era!
