Not only should Seawind send you the correct pistons but they should explain why they put the wrong ones on the windows in the first place. Do Seawind boats come with a warranty?

I would expect that Sea Wind would send struts that work.. it's a new boat 😮

Jettie licking his neck to wake Billy up was adorable lol

I am not usually a safety Sally. Just be mindful that your grill can catch on fire. I used to have a grill on our balcony. Cooking burgers (lots of fat). It caught on fire and nearly burnt my house down. I noticed how close it is to your Bimini post. Love your channel.

Great video, Sierra, haters will hate and or just jealous of what they don't have! Your voice is great, and for the person that doesn't like it, don't listen. WE WILL!!! Loved the video and loved seeing more of Jetty! As for dogs on a boat, Jetty is probably taken better care of then a lot of land dogs!!! Billy, Sierra and Jetty, you all ROCK!!! Thank you for the videos and I love that you bring us along!
I agree with the other comments regarding the window, come on Seawind, step up to the plate! Fair winds and following Seas my friends!!!

Kinda got the feeling that Seawind was the kinda company that would step up on the struts. Clearly underpowered. Nice cadence on the vid by the way. Very chill!

After watching the Ruby Rose build for the past year (Seawind 1390) it is VERY interesting to see a side of a company that isn't all sunshine and roses. Seriously - missing and weak window struts and that thru-hull?!! I think you are taking the issues with a lot of grace by not completely bashing them. Really enjoying seeing you back on the water and looking forward to all the future episodes.

Another great video! As a fellow swimmer and open water swimmer, I would strongly suggest that when swimming in open water/off shore (even with Billy there to watch you) that you use a swim buoy. They have some really good ones that are inexpensive online at Swim Outlet

Not boring at all! Certainly not as boring as cutting the lawn, shoveling the driveway, pulling weeds etc. I really enjoy seeing the day to day routine that makes living on a boat possible. More “day in the life of” stuff! Thanks!

Shouldn't seawind send you the window gas lift thingy?

I remember when I was a kid on my dad‘s old 1940 Wheeler, it had a forward window with brackets on each side that you could control the window opening. They were merely flat metal with several notches for adjustment. The boat is probably gone now, but I bet the brackets are still working. Get rid of the stuff that breaks and go back to old school technology.

I really think you should of mounted the grill as far away from the arc as you could get. The heat from the grill lid might burn or discolor the arc.
It just doesn't seem very safe having a grill with a high heat level that close to any fiberglass structure. I would of turned the grill on high before mounting it to the lid to see how much radiant heat it's going to produce.

You two can resolve any issues on your boat. You make a great team.

You made my day. 😊
Great episode.
I'm surprised the struts on the center window were missed by Seawind. They should definitely send you new and replacement ones.

Well Billy, hope to see you get the gas struts soon, as Sierra doesn’t seem to keen on using wooden ladles to keep the front windows open.
Another great video, and nice for you all to share what your off days are like. Looking forward to the next adventure!!

Why did Saw Wind not provide the gas struts? Should that be a warranty issue? I am an RV owner and my new travel trailer had gas struts under the bed that came off (not well attached), and others have just died all within the warranty period. Still waiting to see if manufacture will warranty those issues Si far the warranty is only words on paper.

18:52 why isn't seawind sending you new window struts? It's a brand new boat especially when 1 window didn't even have any.

I subscribe to very few cruiser videos. I like yours because you keep it real. You don’t cause drama for attention like so many others do. Keep up the good work. I cruised for 7 years and I know how hard AND how rewarding it can be. I miss being out there. Enjoy the new Seawind!
