I'm glad you showed another angle of the neutral/flying chao. I figured the purple chao in the main shot was a Nights chao, but I wanted a better view and didn't see the other one you screenshotted, even after watching the trailer a few times.

I like how the middle one is cheese and the left is like Samba from Samba De Amigo and the right one is a power type and then there's a cyan chao but also there's a hidden one on the right which is Knuckles Chao! I really hope none of these animatronics get destroyed especially the Knuckles one and I have Knuckles says SAVE THE CHAO WARRIOR!

In Sonic Movie 2, A Chao Garden is marked on Tails' computer, implying that it's a real location in the Sonic movie universe. I do hope that they really do exist and play a role, even if it's a minor one. Having them implemented as just ficticious mascots is such a lame way of adapting the source material tbh.

In my idea for the end of Sonic 4, during the credits, Cream the Rabbit is introduced, flying away from a mysterious figure. While Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy are talking about their adventure, Cream and her pet Chow, Cheese, accidentally bump into them. Sonic smiles and says, "Looks like we've got a new friend." Cream shyly introduces herself, with Cheese happily floating beside her, setting up the next chapter in their journey and also in the future cheese would play a big part for the a chow
