Here are all of the Sims 4 useful hotkeys I could find. This video is focused on the hotkeys for the PC ⁽ᵃʳᵉ ᵗʰᵉʳᵉ ᵉᵛᵉⁿ ʰᵒᵗᵏᵉʸˢ ᶠᵒʳ ᶜᵒⁿˢᵒˡᵉˀ ᴸᶦᵏᵉ, ʷᵒᵘˡᵈⁿ'ᵗ ᵗʰᵃᵗ ʲᵘˢᵗ ᵇᵉ ᵗʰᵉ ᶜᵒⁿᵗʳᵒˡˢ ᶠᵒʳ ᵗʰᵉ ᵍᵃᵐᵉˀ⁾ and it's focused on English based keyboards.

Go up a floor - Page Up
Go down a floor - Page Down
Move around neighbourhood - Hold right click
W/Up arrow - Move forward
A/Left arrow - Move to the left
S/Down arrow - Move backwards
D/Right arrow - Move to the right
Select Sim - Left click Sim's profile
Centre your camera on Sim - Left click Sim's profile again (so two clicks)
Follow Sim - Right click the Sim's profile
Tilt camera - Hold mouse wheel
Zoom in/out - Click Z/X or use the scroll wheel on your mouse
Remove interface (great for filming) - Tab
Undo something - Control + Z
Redo something - Control + Y
Live Mode - F1
Build Mode - F2
Buy Mode - F3
Open up The Gallery - F4

Eyedropper - E

Quickly switch through swatches - Hold an item and click + on your number pad
Grid on or off - G
Place duplicates down - Hold Shift
Put something in your household inventory - Click item and click Backspace

Place items 1/2 a spot on the grid - F5
Place object anywhere w/o the grid - Hold Alt
Paint a straight wall - Hold Alt

First Person Mode:
Enter/exit - Shift + Tab
Move your mouse without moving the camera - Hold Shift
Re-centre the camera to whatever your Sim is looking at - Ctrl
Adjust field of view - Use your scroll wheel on your mouse

Great video! You missed one. If you hold enter down, the camera will follow your sim. Also when you were talking about speeding up time you don't have to use your number row, you can also use your number pad, and zero is pause as well.

Z and X are also hotkeys for zooming in/out!! And for laptop users such as myself, the Fn key + up/down arrow is for going up/down floors, and Fn key + right/left arrow is for changing the wall views!

You can also hold shift + camera movement (w, a, s, d) to move the camera faster, it can be done the same with the zoom in and out...

While In tab (camera mode) you can use “q “ and “e” to move up and down.

Oh this is going to be so useful, some of these I knew, but a lot of them I didn't know, oh and I always have used The Sims 3 camera, I remember trying the TS4 one, but hated it, so right away switched to TS3 camera and never looked back, lol!

Pressing Y while in top down view mode you can view collision issues you might have. found this super helpful
when you move a house and you start to lose random items in the wall or while building caves and routing issues occur, but im not sure which rock im grabbing.

When in build/buy mode you can hold shift + page up/down to move the grid in between floor levels while still be on the level you are in. So for example you're on the second level of the building and you hold shift + pg down, grid will be shown on the ground level instead of on the second level of the building.

Also if your num pad is disabled, clicking 9 and 3 will change the floor level on live and build mode. If it's on, the numbers will also count as pause/play and speed, except the pause button would be 0.
