Awesome. I'll have to remember that one, not sure how often it'll come up but 'each' is a handy code!
Thank you 🙂👍🏻

Hello from Portugal. Can you please help me with this problem? I have everyday a table with 1 column with the day before today, when I promote the headers I will have the day as header and I must change the name to date… it works fine today, but tomorrow I will receive one error because the day was no longer the same. Of course all this in power query. Thank you very much for your help

quite useful.
I've been wondering whether this can also somehow work with individual parts of the value in a column, specifically with different parts of dates (days, months, years) and both in what you want to search and replace and in what you want the new value to be (e.g. replacing part of a text with a month or a year extracted from another column)
I tried a lot of things but couldn't find a way to do it without deconstructing values in different columns and reassembling with new values in yet another new column... and it's okay for a small range of data but not for entire databases I actually need to do it for, spanning years of data and hundreds of separate files with thousands of rows of data each, and updating possibly daily...

Is it possible to replace a value and move it one row down? Or is that only possible with an index?

Thanks for the videos. Please help me. I added new column after power query but whenever refresh happens, new rows from source data will offsets the added column.

Dear Curbal, i really love your tips. I am just wondering if there is a way I can use replace function conditionally to achieve this---if column A is "aa" then replace the 23 in column B with 10 from Column C

A B C
aa 23 10
das 44 51
fdd 21 30

and the output should be something like this:

A B C
aa 10 10
das 44 51
fdd 21 30

Please help

Hi Curbal,

Could you please help us in creating a report which generally call an API (export to file). This API needs to call the paginated report and download the data in CSV file. This requirement is getting popular in many projects now. If you can create a video on this that would really help many of us. Thanks
