Thank you for explaining it so thoroughly! I was pretty confused trying to read my way through forums of people (who didn't actually seem to understand the system) trying to explain how it works. This video really summed it up well for me!

Just picked up the new strike eagle 5-25 here in Canada. Love it. Thanks for bringing an excellent product to the market for a reasonable price.

Love my vortex.. Just got my new strike eagle 5 25 56 34mm scope and barely got it on for a fundraiser that was yesterday (Saturday)... I shot it on my 22lr and hit the liberty bell (steel plate) at 1776 feet (592 yards)... Awesome scope vortex... Keep up the great work!!

I had to pull my zero stop out. I have a 30moa base and I'm shooting out past 2 miles, repeated hits at 3000yds and a few at 2 miles, the zero stop is GREAT if your in a PRS setting gling from say 100 - 1760 or anywhere in between, having a dope card and returning to zero then dialing works great, but anything past 2000 the rev stop just gets in the way .... LOVE THE SCOPE, for the price the glass is excellent

I just toss a 20MOA base mount in and leave it where I can dial it all.

While at first I liked the idea of a stop, the moment I ran into a hard stop and had to adjust in glass, I removed the stop...👍🇺🇸.. Awesome glass.

I’d like to see a video about setting the scope so it stops at zero without going 5 mil past.

Also a video about setting the zero stop a second or third time once it has already been installed. Messed my zero up a few times trying this. I think my mistake was when I took of the turret to zero it i just spun the zero stop clockwise until it stops but you need to lift it out and drop it straight in so as to not mess anything up.

love the scope

I wish that Vortex have a Sales partner in Brazil, here we have no restrictions to buy scopes and reddots, the only restriction is the price from particular sellers!!!

Excellent vid. I just got the Venom with Rev Stop. It's like my Diamondbacks, with zero stop and speed throw lever.

As for people worrying about the zero stop limiting travel, that is part of the point, Looking to return to the zero place. And most times, you are not going to dial below the zero point, though you can with the Rev Stop giving a full MOA under the zero for when you shoot less than the zero distance. You are not going to use the elevations below zero.

And definitely us a long range booster rail, depending. But you also have other options. In MOA, you dial another 47 MOA. And then you about another 40 ish MOA hold overs in the reticle. To me, the Venom and the Strike Eagle, and even the Diamondback Tactical are one mile scopes.

What is the difference in the Vortex L-Tec Turret Tool and the Vortex L-Tec AMG Turret Tool? Thank you

Installing the Zero stop on mine limits the up elevation travel to a little over 11 mils. Just under two full revolutions. So if you have a 20-30 MOA base, the zero stop makes it useless. It’s amazing to me some one thought this was a good idea.

I’m a beginner at long range shooting. I just ordered this scope. How can I go about learning this scope starting from the basics so I can get the most out of it? The farthest range I’ve ever sighted for is 100 yards so adjustments on a turret are completely foreign to me. What resources could I look to in order for me to learn? I need a dummied down version lol.

Clear as mud. I’m happy with my Gen 1 Viper PST 6-24x50 with an EBR-1 MOA reticle. I also use a 20 MOA rail.

After I set my my vortex venom how do I get the zero marks on the cam to set zero on the line of the cap

Looking to use for precision rimfire and need 70 Moa for long range rimfire. Looks like this won’t work if I want to keep the zero stop.

So does this mean putting either of these scopes on a 20 or 30 moa base is useless? Since the rev stop will limit the elevation gained from the base? What scopes will take advantage of canted bases?

I have a question, I zeroed my vortex Venom install revstop with 147grn bullets but now i wanna zero it to 130. Can i remove the rev stop, zero it again and install rev stop again?

Still sucks that is limits to 18 mils, I'll leave the ring out. When I purchased the scope I thought it had a zero stop that would allow me more range, very misleading. I'll use the Strike Eagle on my guns that I don't shoot as far.

What do you think about mount it on an air rifle? I just ordered one for my air rifle but it got me thinking about my airgunt has a high rail and that probably will take some MOA away from my scope. Plus on an air rifle it's very comun to shoot at short distances, and this scope sighting from 15 yards to infinity
