We Are Europe Must Act

We are Europe Must Act, a movement that began in 2020 with grassroots organisations on the ground in Greece, exposing the terrible conditions that asylum seekers face at Europe’s borders.

This is not only plea for change but a call to action, built on a belief that Europe can choose a fair and humane migration path. Because we know that, through collective action, a better, more compassionate world is possible.

Our Raising Voices project brings the stories of displaced people and volunteers directly to citizens across Europe, revealing their journeys, their challenges, and their dreams and their realities. By sharing these experiences with the wider public, we aim to shift the narrative, show the reality people on the move face, and highlight the potential for positive change.

We welcome stories in any form: videos, voice notes, letters, poems, artwork, and more, even anonymously if preferred.
