Nvidia under powered the 5080 so they can launch a 5080 ti in a year!

I got my 4090 for $1200 and it’s from a Dell Alienware pre build, worth every penny even 1.5 years later

In other words, try to find a good deal on a 4090 and call it a day.

Nvidia keeps dropping turds and "gamers" keep paying for them. I don't know where to begin.

The 5000 generation cards are a complete disappointment.

It don’t make sense tho when the 4080 came out Is faster then the 3090 now the 5080 is slower then the 4090 hmmm NVIDIA is slacking off the performance gap

4080S VS 5080 would be way more interesting.

I'm noticing something weird, the 4090 is on average 10 Celsius lower. Is that what everyone else saw?

People camped out for days to buy these mid cards 💀

Can only imagine when they fix the drivers and release a few updates

If you already have a 4090, not really any good reason to buy a new card

that extra memory count really making itself relevant

An RTX 4080/Super doesn't worth to upgrade to an RTX 5080, it is really sad. The RTX 5080 is a dissapointing card. I will keep my RTX 4090 because of the 24GB of VRAM and the overall better performance. The RTX 5090 is too expensive, I bought my RTX 4090 under MSRP in my country. The RTX 5080 should have been a similar or better card than the RTX 4090.

They said 5070 = 4090.
Whats going on here ?

so 5080 with non nvidia gimped clocks is basically the same as 4090.

nvidia artificially limited the clock speed of 5080 to sell 5080 super later

I know dlss 4 is on 50 and 40 series etc but multi frame gen is 50 series only . Now is this due to tech constraints of the 50 series or is nvidia simple not giving it to the 40 series so if you want it you gotta buy the 50 ????

You can possibly overclock your 5080 to 3200mhz or more depending on the model to close the performance gap with the 4090.

I have PNY 5080 OC. This is the first time I have a graphics card from this company. From the start +400 vram +2000. Temperatures always below 60 degrees C. Loaded in Twinmotion almost all the time 100%. I am waiting for better drivers and bios because it is clear that this graphics wants more.
