I live in the neighborhood. It was about 3 houses wide and went south to north for about a block. It was quick and LOUD! Power was restored to the pocket of homes around 4pm today.

Tornadoes embedded in advancing hurricanes are frequent, but usually not prominent in size or power.
That said, they have been known to cause devastation in mobile homes or other less resistant structures.

Wish that’s all tornado had done at our place. Night of Helene, up here in the big bend- I live in woods…after tornado spawned, now there’s more massive trees on the ground, than there are still standing. Miracle our home and family survived, but our property is now unrecognizable, from the tornado that tore through, more than the cat 4.

Most of the fence panels should be usable but they'll hope to get a new fence from home owner's insurance. But the top piece of the fence that holds the panels is what would break. It's the top and bottom piece that holds the fence panels. Yes, some stuff broke, but many of the panels would still be whole. Yes, you need some new fencing parts but some of it is still good. If your fence had been all wood, well it would be broken. The PVC fencing becomes brittle over time but in a landfill it's going to last like they pyramids of Egypt.

Maybe, I'd say, EF-1, maybe an EF-2 type tornado; but something more like a waterspout. I'm not dismissing the danger, but simply pointing out that from what I see here, it was not that big, and perhaps far more common than being reported. Either way, I do not like the idea of living anywhere where there is a seasonal chance for a tornado. I'll take my chances here in SoCal with earthquakes instead. OH! And BTW - those plastic fences don't help much either; they're not built for any type of heavy wind.
