Big figs imo are one of the best inclusions to Lego in the past decade or so.

One boon I think these new individual head and body pieces will provide is that they won't have to design a brand new head/body piece for each new big fig.

There's a bunch of big figs that Lego could make with this desing. Unfortunately DC just can't stop making Batman 89 sets and Marvel mostly focuses on current movie runs

The fact that they have reused the heads and are using the Thanos mold again in this year's A-Force set, is likely and indicator that they will reuse this piece as they want to keep it in production. It can take a while for these big pieces to be recolored.

I’m guessing they are too expensive to include in smaller sets but that kind of falls apart when they can include dinosaurs in £20 sets and 4+ sets exist. They could even price them like 4+ sets and I’d get characters that made sense like hulk, bane, thanos, Solomon Grundy, etc

It’s a shame they seem to only be in expensive sets I can stomach a £30 set for a figure I wanted but I can’t justify buying £90+ sets for themes I’m not super invested in right now just so I have the figures I will want someday.

they did this all the before back in 2002 set 4712 Troll on the loose

That body peice has been around long before it was used for Thanos. It’s been around since 2019 with Roadhog

That head would be perfect for a The Watcher minifigure.
