I've never done this! ...just never thought about it. I will definitely try snipping my zinnias this year. I had tall, lanky, and top heavy ones last year. This way I can keep them shorter, and bushier. Thanks!!!

How cool. I love this tip of the day concept. Never seen this done. You should do more of these Jill. Now if I can just grow some zinnias. I tried to winter sow them and they didn't come up in the containers. So now I will try to start them from seed planted direct sow.

I don't have as many leaf sets, but the slugs have decimated a lot of my leaves. Can I still pinch back to above just the first set of leaves to save them?
