I might just be stupid, but it looks like it didn't start in sport mode.

Put the car in auxiliary and sport mode then start it up. What I do is hit the M and S buttons simultaneously together as I'm starting the car and it starts up in sport.

Okay so regardless of what I said, it looks like Sport mode disabled itself at startup! Thoughts on this guys...

The screen is NOT bigger on 2017.
It also didn't start in sport mode. You can even see the message "Normal mode ON" on the screen.
I used to like your videos in the start, they were informative and you knew what you were talking about, but lately...
And btw, the revving has nothing to do with it, it happens to all the cars and it's because the engine needs to warm up, and the cats also need to come to operating temperature really fast.

Most modern Maserati's don't allow you to start in SPORT mode. Oh and what you say about the bark on starting makes no difference as the exhaust valves are open anyway on start as there is no vacuum to the solenoid. So put simply you gain nothing at all from starting the car in SPORT mode!!!!

COME on...it is very easy to start on sport. Any normal ear can tell the huge difference on the noise it makes by staring on sport. Now...apart from starting on sport...there are some other differences while driving on sport too. but that is another very boring topic.
