I've done all three and still have popping sounds at beginning and end of audio playback. I am going insane trying to fix

wow method 1 actually stopped the cracking, it was driving me insane. thanks for the help.

Didn't work for me. Turns out Corsair ICue software messed up my PC. Everything is back to normal after removing this.

Step 2 seemed to allow me to get my sound back after it stutters out but hasnt solved all problems. Still thank you I would not have thought of this

I came from a mackbook to windows, worst decision i have ever made. I will be going back to a macbook permanently
