Great video and too the point, I just added the 10" to my sailboat caught 2 of the biggest Coho Salmon (wild so couldn't keep them) looking to target Kings I am sure it will be a little more adjustment on the fishfinder.

Howdy, terrific video, most helpful. Was wondering if you have any experience with dealing with the downrigger canon ball returns while using traditional sonar. Ours sometime will read that line as the bottom. any suggestions on this? thanks much

Dude... I love your videos and I'm a GIANT Sportsman fan. Looking at a 302 Open next year (I hope!) but I fricken can't stand it when people point to a sonar image and start talking about shit like I know what it is. Seriously. Couple of questions, because I don't understand the sonar thing. (Not much of a fisherman, but I'd like to get more into it when I get a bigger boat)

1) What is the perspective of what I'm looking at? Is this under the boat? Is it in front of the boat? Is it a side view? Am I looking down on it?

2) Please stop pointing at random dots, calling them "live structure" and moving on. Why is it live structure? How can you tell? Why do you guys always say "I'm gonna say" like you just decided it's live structure.

3) What in blue **** is a "live structure"? Is it a fish? Is it a coral? Is it a rock with a personality?

Hi there, thanks for the great video. I have a Garmin 74SV. How do I reset the Garman without eliminating the engine data? I’m not really seeing fish on the screen but would like to reset it without having to re-calibrate the Nema set up for twins

Great how too. i tried to wipe down my screen while running messed up my sonar adjustments. how do i set it back to default settings. seems locked on the past view and cant get it back. thanks in advance. im not hearing fishfinder and dont see any fish. just blobs weird and cant get back

I'm still confused about how "scroll speed" works, if I always use ultraspeed when the ship is going slow and fast is it better to know real time in under water. why are there so many categories like slow, medium, fast etc. if ultraspeed is better at reading quickly real time fish in the water.. thank

is this a "bottom machine" or a sonar...because all I see this machine doing is reading the have always thought that sonar had the ability to look / see sideways and I wrong???...because I want the capability to look forward and sideways...so I don't hit a rock or an incline of sand or please. thanks
