Navy Seals - Danger Close

Executive Producer Hans Halberstadt presents US Navy SEALs action -- training, beach operations, small boats, desert training. This program uses photography made by special authorization from SPECWARCOM and features personnel from SEAL Teams 3, 5, and 10 at Coronado, California, Little Creek, Virginia, and a secret location in the California desert. Most of the photographs were made by author and photographer Hans Halberstadt, an associate member of the UDT/SEAL Association who has written or co-written four books on naval special warfare and who has spent months covering SEAL and SWCC training.

And while others may not see it, I believe you guys aren't just fighting for this great country, you're also fighting for the freedom of other countries from evil at times. Know a guy who was a SEAL for a long time. Now, he's a SEAL instructor. These men  are TOTALLY bad ass.  Have complete respect for them.

Much respect for the guys who try out this type of training and even more to the guys who complete it. Asthma kept me from serving in the armed forces. Coast Guard Aux. qualified boat crew for me at 39. Thanks to all that serve and to the fallen this memorial day.

Ahh memories and painful joints and muscles. I was a Marine there in the '80's and early 90's and worked with SBU and the SEALS. We trained US Army Rangers to understand how to work with Marines and vice versa along with the Fort Campbell Guys. This was one of the places that SOC in Tampa brought Tier 1-3 units together to train with one another. 10 years later all of that work paid off when we went in Afghanistan. Love these guys.

I love these boys. They protect us day and night. My brother was a Delta Operator. Retired as a SGM. He hung himself two months ago. Loved that little boy.

As a former SOF asset from a different branch of the US military, I was privileged to work along side some SEALS on a couple of things.      I have the greatest respect for these trident warriors.     I think one of their greatest assets is that they NEVER quit.
