This video shows you how to install a new MAP sensor from TRQ that is designed to perfectly fit your 2005-2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor measures the air coming into your fuel injected engine to determine how much fuel to add to get the right mix. A failing or failed sensor will contribute to rough or inefficient running engines. It will likely also trigger a check engine light. Replacing a failed sensor should be a priority.

This repair was done on a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt LS 2.2L Sedan 4-Door FWD Manual and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2005 Chevrolet Cobalt
2006 Chevrolet Cobalt
2007 Chevrolet Cobalt
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt
2009 Chevrolet Cobalt
2010 Chevrolet Cobalt

Tools you will need:
• Hose Pliers

you dont need to take off the throttle body, just remove the clips holding the harness onto the fuel rail and move out of the way. Enough access is available to replace with just intake tube/box off.
