I worded it a bit wrong, but I meant it's difficult to look as impressive all the time, not that you can't look impressive. Have a nice day!

And I know he used to do gear btw, but from what I know he doesn’t encourage it, which is what I have a problem with.

He still looks way better than the majority, even without the pump

Thank you so much. I'm also the type of guy who is always extremely self-critical and I get really frustrated when I don't look like I want to or reach the goals in a time I set myself. These videos remind me that social media is just a lie and I'm doing much better than I think.

now i don't feel like a loser for being soft a day after working out. i thought maybe my body is just different and these guys can look like that 24/7, which made me give up on working out a couple of times.

Mad respect for the guy to post this up, its not only women who suffer from social media saying they should look a certain way.

EDIT: since getting so much hate - by "natural" below she considered "effortless" (English is not my native language, sorry). Carry on everyone, be awesome.

I feel that it's not that men expect themselves to look like absolute units they see in bloody social media, it's the women who see it and then expect men to look like that. I've heard one of my female friends once say "oh no, I don't like too masculine men, I prefer them natural, for example like Brad Pitt from Fightclub would be perfect!" - it was really difficult for me to explain to her, that Brad Pitt in that movie is NOT a natural look by FAR. Hollywood leads our society to delusion and social media fuels that delusion to astronomic proportions.

The true gain is the mental fortitude we made on the journey.

He looks great in the 'normal' clip tho. Yeah it's nice to see yourself in the changing room mirror after a workout but one thing to remember is that pump =/= strength. Those gains are still there waiting for when you need them!

Interesting to see how subtle yet drastic the differences are

I could not agree more!!!! Thank you for posting this. Unfortunately, this is the world we live in where people think everyone looks like they do on social media all the time. I only use YouTube but used to use Instagram and Facebook. It’s funny how after not being on those sites, people look like real people! You can’t filter, light, pump, and edit your real self in real life. THAT is truly refreshing.

After time and time of wanting to look like someone else I've come to the conclusion that it's a sure way to failure and depression. Instead try to look like yourself, the best version of yourself. And with each day you workout you're better than yesterday self. Cheers and best of luck.

Here's the following basic tricks people do whenever they showing off their gains:
1)12-18 hours of dehydration
2)good pump
3)really warm room temp
4)most flattering angles only
5)flexing every visible muscle in the pic/video to the max without looking like they are flexing anything
6)flattering downlighting
7) keeping themselves fully shaven...
8)either keeping themselves tanned or uses darker lights...

When all those things gets used at the same time they really makes huge visual difference even if no filters gets used...

It’s not the producers’ responsibility. It’s our problem as consumers to be mindful of what goes into our heads.

This is so inspiring to me. I look similar on a normal day.

Crazy what perspective provides.

It's very important to remember this. Pump and lighting makes huuuge difference.
