These are Nissa's parents, Niko (Leafeon) and Edelweiss (Glaceon), obviously before Nissa was born and even before the hero team was formed.

Leafeon was an explorer at Küyen's (Absol) guild, but when Edel came to visit town he couldn't take his eyes off her, so he kept sneaking out training to go see her.
