Lefkada Island Cruise 3rd Trip on Oct 5 2021

Our third trip out of the Greek Island port of Nydri on October 5, 2021. This trip was on the vessel Eptanisos. This was the last trip of the year for the Eptanisos, like the previous two cruise boats we rode on the previous two days. Perfect trip timing, although today was the coolest day yet.

Sort of the same itinerary: Depart from Nidri harbor and steam around to the east the coast of Lefkas to the beach of Egremni for swimming, then to Porto Katsiki beach. Next to the port of Fiskardo on the Ionian island of Kefalonia for sightseeing (Lunch was Greek Souvlaki grilled on-board). Then another swim stop on Ithaca island. Again, we sailed into the Cave of Papanikolis in Meganisi island. Then, we steamed around the Scorpios islands, formerly of the Onassis family, but now Russian owned. We sailed around the islands in the group - Scorpidi, Sparti and Madouri before returning to Nidri.

Rain was forecast for northern Greece for the next day or three, so we left Lefkada for Pireaus the next morning to go follow the sun to the Dodecanese island of Kos.
