Lefkada Cruise Oct 4 2021 first-of-three trips (Part A)

Ioanian Sea cruise from Nidri port on the Island of Lefkada. This trip was the last of the season for the vessel the Makedonia Palace, on a 7-island cruise (which actually only stopped four times). First stop on the beach Porto Katsiki, the only time that year the ship actually pulled onto that beach. Then, on to a stop on Egremni Beach. The crew grilled Greek souvlaki onboard as we steamed to the Kefalonia Island port Fiskardo for an hour stop, then to a swim stop on Ithaca Island beach. Next, the Captain nosed into the Meganisi Papanikolis Sea Cave, on the island of Meganisi, 12 miles from Nydri village, Lefkada. The Captain motored in and out of the cave three times to get photos for next year's advertisements.

The boat then went around Skorpios island, purchased by Aristotle Onassis in 1963. Passed down to Onassis' granddaughter Athina, Skorpios island was sold to Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev's daughter Ekaterina in 2013.
